Wow…I can’t believe that it’s already been one year since I met these guys. The month I spent as part of ASP, or the Academic Success Program, last year before going to college was without a doubt one of the best months of my LIFE. Even though we had to take classes and do college style homework assignments that would keep us up all night, I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else than these guys. Don’t be confused, there were more than 50 of us. I’ve just always liked this picture (as such, if you’re not in it and seeing this, don’t take it personally). Let me tell, you these guys and gals changed my life. I met so many different kinds of people and each of them brought something unique to the table. It was like touring the entire globe in a month! I’m proud to call them my friends. And even though they poked fun at me for my “southern” accent and long fingers (I still don’t see/hear either one), I love them all and hope that each of them has a successful, happy, and fulfilling life.
